I heard somewhere that Morin was briefly shaken up in the WJC game, any news on that?

If Stolarz and Mason remain out, who would be the AHL backup?

Some guy who is currently working at Wawa?

Hopefully seeing their former coach behind the opposing bench lights a fire under them. Not saying there is bad blood, but I would love to see them stick it to Lavi tonight.

Hey if that were the case at least we know that guy would be better than Bryz.

I thought Morin was a " top shut down" Dman for Canada. I didn't realize he was dressed as the 7th guy.

Bill. I know you have wrote about it before, but maybe can we get your take on the Del Zotto situation?

He played regularly on the PK but the more offensive players got the bulk of the time. That may change against the tougher teams like the US and Finland.

That doesn't seem like a bad deal. Wasn't he pretty highly touted a little bit ago?

He got hit by 2 guys at once and went off in pain. Came back after about 10 minutes and looked okay.

Yeah, he seemed okay except for one play where he was knocked off balance on an open ice hit by a Slovak. I actually thought it was a leg injury at first.

Is he 7th because he isn't 100% from the jaw or is he just 7th cuz he's 7th?

Thanks Bill. However, you must remember not to say, "shoot out," when around the Flyers. If worse comes to worse, let's win in OT...lol.
I just hope the Flyers can keep the wins coming. Last time we had a nice break, it was bad news for the team.
Crossing my fingers, and holding on to my rabbit's foot. Let's go Flyers, let's go.

I think he will get more ice time in closer checking games. It seemed like Canada was trying to pour it on against a weaker opponent yesterday.

Long story short, in this tourney, he's a 7.

And some think he can jump to NHL next year, while he is a 7Dman on a Under 20 junior team?

Have to separate fact from fiction/rumor. From an on-ice standpoint, MDZ probably earned a game or two upstairs after his backslide from first game against NYR. But he'd played so well before that, it seems odd that he'd be a healthy scratch this long.

Yeah, I don't get it either. It's not like any of the top 6 have been so dominant they can't miss a game or 2 to get MDZ back in the lineup.
